This website collects nothing
gdgindore.in is a static site. There is no analytics, no tracking pixel, no advertising network, no
embedded third-party script, and no cookie set by us. We do not know who visits this site, and we
have no way to find out.
Fonts and images are served from this domain rather than from a third-party CDN, so loading a page here doesn’t tell anyone else that you did.
The site is hosted on Cloudflare, which processes server logs containing IP addresses as part of delivering it, under Cloudflare’s own privacy policy. We don’t have access to those logs.
Event registration happens elsewhere
When you register for one of our events, you do it on the Google Developer Groups platform
(gdg.community.dev, operated by Bevy) or occasionally on a ticketing partner such as KonfHub. Your
registration data is held by that platform under its own privacy policy and Google’s
privacy policy — not by this website.
As organizers, we can see the attendee list for our own events: typically name, email address, and whatever else the platform asks for. We use it to run the event — to know how many chairs to put out, to email you if the venue changes, and to check people in at the door.
What we never do
- We do not sell your data. To anyone, ever.
- We do not give attendee lists to sponsors. A sponsor who pays for a booth gets a booth. If you want to give them your details, that’s your decision to make at their table. This is written into our partnership policy.
- We do not add you to a mailing list you didn’t ask for. If we ever start a newsletter, it will be opt-in.
Photography
We take photographs and video at events and publish them on our social channels and event galleries. If you would rather not be photographed, tell an organizer at the event — come find us, we don’t mind at all — and we’ll keep you out of shots and remove anything you spot later. Email gdgindore@gmail.com to have a photo taken down.
If you email us, we keep the email. That’s it — we use it to reply to you.
Your rights
You can ask us what we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it. Email gdgindore@gmail.com and we’ll deal with it.
For data held on the GDG platform, you can manage or delete your profile directly at gdg.community.dev, which is faster than going through us.
Changes
We’ll update this page if what we do changes, and change the date at the top.
